I had already bought this book last year around Halloween and definitely wanted to read it soon. It was worth it and I certainly haven’t read it for the last time. It is an absolutely brilliant, fantastic, poetic work where you can see what a great author Ray Bradbury is. I would give it 6 stars if I could. A true reading highlight! 😁🤯😍👍🏻

From the very beginning you can sense that something is not right. You can’t put your finger on exactly what, but the atmosphere is just superb. The language is very flowery, metaphorical but also very beautiful and makes you feel like you are witnessing something great. I had a little trouble with the writing style at the beginning of Fahrenheit 451, because it is also very poetic and metaphorical. Here I was prepared and it really was one of the best books I have ever read. The protagonists are likable and you feel for them the whole time and the villains are creepy, dark and exactly how they need to be for a successful horror novel. This is a book that every horror fan, and every other reader, should have read at least once. A great read and a great recommendation. 🥰😁

Ich hatte dieses Buch bereits für letztes Jahr um Halloween herum gekauft und wollte es schon lange lesen. Es hat sich gelohnt und ich habe es sicher nicht zum letzten Mal gelesen. Es ist ein absolut geniales, fantastisches, poetisches Werk, bei dem man sieht was für ein grossartiger Autor Ray Bradbury ist. Ich würde 6 Sterne geben, wenn ich könnte. Ein echtes Lesehighlight! 😁🤯😍👍🏻

Von Anfang an spürt man, dass irgendetwas nicht stimmt. Man kann zwar nicht genau sagen was, aber die Atmosphäre ist einfach Klasse. Die Sprache ist sehr blumig, metaphorisch aber auch sehr schön und gibt einem das Gefühl etwas Grossartigem beizuwohnen. Ich hatte zu Beginn bei Fahrenheit 451 etwas Mühe mit dem Schreibstil, da es auch sehr poetisch und eben metaphorisch daherkommt. Hier war ich vorbereitet und es war wirklich eines der besten Bücher die ich je gelesen habe. Die Protagonisten sind liebenswert und man fühlt die ganze Zeit mit ihnen und die Bösewichte sind gruselig, dunkel und genau so, wie sie für einen gelungen Horror-Roman sein müssen. Dieses Buch sollte jeder Horror-Fan und auch jeder andere Leser mindestens einmal gelesen haben. Ein grosses Lesehighlight und eine grosse Empfehlung. 🥰😁
