This was my third story in the new „Creature Feature“-Collection and my first book by Josh Malerman. But it was certainly not my last. It is maybe a bit weaker than the first two but still an absolutely amazing story. 😍

That short story has so much thrill, horror and suspense that I had to think about „Blair Witch Project“. And at times it really feels exactly like that. Like you are with Brenda in the woods. 😱😳🫣👻💀 The ending was great and how I hoped it to be! Half of this collection (at least the half that I‘ve read) is brilliant! One of the best if not THE best! 🙂
